Afghanistan - Luxembourg

Below you can see a small quilt I made for an exhibition here in Luxembourg.
That's an european textile project. Each quilter bought an embroidered square and sewed a quilt around this square.
The squares are embroidered by afghan women.
Different european countries took part on this project who is called
Afghanistan Inspiration

The squares embroidered for Luxembourg by an afghan woman called Sharifa are all in red, white and blue, the colours of our national flag.

I'm back...

Back from Spain. :-)
But problems with my PC who said good-bye yesterday....    :-(
So today I was in several shops to look for a new one.
For the moment I'm installing all the programs I need.
But I lost all my pics and my bookmarks :-((((
I hope so that I can recuperate  a great part from the old hard disc.....

So please be a little bit patient for the next days........
I will try to post again regularly...but for the moment it's a little bit difficult to do so..
Have a good week..and no PC crash! :-)
