The new pincushion.....

you need two different fabrics, two buttons and 30 minutes ... :-)

......

the pattern you need....

chain piece the eight squares together...

iron....

sew two four patches....

pin them right sides together...

lay your pattern on the seam lines of each square and draw all around...

sew all around on the line.....

cut out with 1/4" seam allowance...

open one of the middle seems (1 1/2") for stuffing....

don't forget to clip the inside seems....

turn it inside out and press...

stuff the pincushion and close the opening...

sew on both sides a button in the middle....

and here it is, your new " hearty" pincushion :-)
