I used 14 different fabrics because on one sheet of paper I could draw 7 elements
one up and one down, one dark and one light, so 7 x 2 = 14.
After basting this little rows I will sew them together with silk thread,( the same as I use to applique) until I have the elements needed for one row on the quilt..

wow- so much work, and so super cool :D The best projects are the ones that are super demanding. You are gong to feel so elated when you have this one done!
